Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Viral Conversion Limited, trading as Caveman Cappuccino("we," "us," or "our"), collects and uses information when you visit cavemancappuccino.com or use our products and services.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up with Google or email (via Supabase Auth), we receive your email address and, where provided, your name.
• Purchase information. When you buy a product or start a subscription, Stripe processes the payment. We store order and subscription records linked to your account (product, amount, status). We do not store your full card number.
• Usage and attribution. We use first-party analytics to understand how people move through our site: a visitor identifier cookie, UTM parameters from ads or links, and funnel events (for example page views and purchase steps).
• Member media.If you use Caveman's Fire App, photos and videos you upload of your pours are stored so we can show them back to you and generate AI feedback.
• Support communications. If you email us, we keep the content of that conversation so we can help you.

Why we collect it

• To create and secure your account
• To deliver products you purchase and run your subscription
• To process payments and prevent fraud
• To operate Fire App features, including AI pour scoring feedback
• To measure and improve our marketing and site experience (first-party analytics only)
• To respond to support requests and legal obligations

Who we share it with

We share personal information with service providers who help us run the Service — not to sell your data. Current providers include:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing
• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Cloudflare (R2) — storage of member-uploaded media
• Anthropic — AI processing of pour photos/videos you submit for scoring feedback
• Vercel — website hosting and delivery

These providers process data on our instructions and under their own privacy and security practices. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies and similar storage for things like keeping you signed in and remembering a visitor id / attribution for analytics. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies on the site.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect sign-in or other features.

AI processing of your media

When you request AI feedback in the Fire App, the photo or video you choose is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a scorecard and coaching notes. That media is also stored on Cloudflare R2 so you can review your history. Do not upload media you do not have the right to share.

Data retention

We keep account and purchase records for as long as your account is active and as needed for accounting, disputes, and legal compliance. Funnel analytics events are retained for business analysis. Member media is kept while your account has Fire App access, or until you ask us to delete it (subject to backup and legal retention needs). Support emails are kept as long as reasonably needed to resolve your request and maintain records.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email support@cavemancappuccino.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

You can cancel a Fire App subscription anytime from your account page (Stripe Billing Portal). Closing your account or deleting media can also be requested through support.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International transfers

We are based in Hong Kong. Our service providers may process data in other countries. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in places that may have different data-protection laws than your home country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
